The Kinabalu Multidisciplinary Academic Research Journal (KIMARA) operates as an independent academic publication and currently does not receive direct financial support from institutional or external funding bodies. To ensure the sustainability and continuous operation of the journal, publication costs are supported through minimal Article Processing Charges (APC).
KIMARA is committed to maintaining an accessible and inclusive platform for scholarly publication, particularly within the polytechnic and college community.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
The following fees apply upon acceptance of the manuscript:
- Authors from Polytechnic and College Community: RM100.00 per article
- Authors from Other Institutions (Local/International): RM150.00 per article
These charges are used solely to cover essential publication costs, including editorial processing, peer review management, manuscript formatting, and online publication.
Important Notes
- No Submission Fee:Authors are not required to pay any fee at the submission stage.
- Payment Upon Acceptance Only: Fees are only applicable after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer review process and has been formally accepted for publication.
- No Additional Charges: There are no hidden or additional fees beyond the stated APC.
